- Wesley : I finally preordered Reach earlier today. Won't get to play until probably next year, but good to know it will be waiting for me.
- TehCourtJest : got some game time in with Bonekin on ODST/Halo 3 multi yesterday. good times! lookin forward to Reach.
- Wesley : I played through The Force Unleashed again. Such an awesome game; I can't wait for the second one.

- Wesley : New REACH campaign trailer up on B.net and Youtube. Man, that shit looks awesome! I can't wait.
- Wesley : Also: Firefight Versus seems really cool.
- Wesley : And Forge World is fucking crazy. Can't wait to play in it.
- Wesley : Yeah, new Ivory Tower looks amazing.
- TehCourtJest : did you guys see the vidoc about Forge World. OH. MY. GAWD!!!!
- TehCourtJest : i'm super stoke about the ivory tower remake. one of my fav maps ever!
- [Ben] : New Reach stuff looks amazing. And Ivory Tower remake, woohoo!
- Wesley : Andrew, I played KOTOR when it first came out, so I can forgive it's age, now. I'm not sure if a someone who has never played will be able to, now, but you should definitely try. It really is the forerunner to Mass Effect, and plays very much like ME does. Also, it's Star Wars, and that's always a plus. :)
- Wesley : Also, GameFly just shipped Alan Wake. Yay!
- Wesley : I haven't even gotten off Taris, yet, though. so I may encounter some stuff. If you can find it for PC, that'd probably be the best thing. There's a Mac version, but it doesn't run on Intel Macs because it's so old. :(
- Wesley : I think it's fine, Ben. It's not the prettiest game anymore, obviously, but it still looks pretty good. I haven't had any major issues playing on the 360. The sound gets a little wonky sometimes, but not bad by any means. And sometimes there's some framerate issues in combat, but hell, that has always been the case with that came.
- [Ben] : Yeah as great as ME is it has nothing on Star Wars: KotOR, I'd recommend giving it a try. I'm not sure how well it has aged though, and it's backwards compatible for 360 but heard it runs like crap on it. If you've played Dragon Age, the combat is more like that rather than ME.
- TehCourtJest : ashamed to say I know nothing of that game, Wes
- Wesley : I picked up a copy of Knights of the Old Republic today. I forgot how incredibly awesome it was. They really need to make another one.
- Wesley : Yeah, man, ME2 is excellent. When it first came out, I played through it twice in a row.
- TehCourtJest : so i picked up three games on my vacation. Mass Effect 2, bioshock 2, and the new transformers game. only played ME2 thus far, but it's amazing. about 20 hours into it.
- N1NJ4 : I don't know I bought king's bounty gold for 10 dollars in the huge steam sale. I imagine that will keep me busy for a bit. I would be surprised if I survive the sale without making a few more purchases too
- TehCourtJest : oh, and i'm picking up ME2 while down in texas. anyone recommend another good game to pick up?
- TehCourtJest : i leave for vaca next friday morning, and i won't have internet except for the rare occasion I'm at a hotel with free wifi, so my apologies ahead of time for disappearing :)
- TehCourtJest : agreed. definitely a downgrade as far as I am concerned.
- Wesley : I actually think it feels worse, Andrew. The controls aren't very tight, and the vehicles feel like rocks.
- TehCourtJest : anyone played the crackdown 2 demo yet? it feels like more of the same IMO. not a lot of tweaks or upgrades from what I can tell.
- Wesley : No joke, I almost cried anyway.
- TehCourtJest : i can't get any of my friends to go see it with me. and going to movies alone makes me want to cry :P
- Wesley : Toy Story 3 rocks! Go see it!
- TehCourtJest : loving Kingdom for Keflings
- Ben : Man it blew me away how much work they put into it considering it's just one level in the game. I would kill for a fully fledged Crimson Skies-esque Halo space combat game.
- Wesley : Also, Ben, the Space battle looked pretty boring to me. There just didn't seem to be a whole lot going on. New Firefight is super exciting, though.
- Wesley : I'll be getting the new 360. I'm gonna let my Dad borrow mine so he can use Netflix on it while I'm in basic. If he likes it, he said he'll just buy me the new one and he'll keep my old one.
- TehCourtJest : new 360 looks pretty. i want.
- Ben : Also I might pick up the new 360, my warranty is almost out and my current 360 seems to be on its deathbed. With the Gamestop trade-in offer I'll be able to upgrade to the new 360 for ~$60.
- Ben : Space battle level in Reach? Count me in!
